Sight Loss Tip: How to shower with the right temperature every time

We all hate getting into a shower before it has reached a stable temperature. When replacing our bathroom we looked at different shower options that would be simple to use with low vision. We found a solution that solves How to shower with the right temperature every time.

We settled on the Aqualisa Visage Smart Concealed shower with a remote switch. The simplicity of a single temperature dial and a single button, made it tactile friendly. On turning the shower on, a blue light blinks on the main control and the remote control. When the temperature has settled, the light turns solid. Turning the shower on and waiting for a solid blue light before getting in ensures the right temperature every time. While the light is the only indicator, there may come a time were my vision deteriorates to a point I can’t see it, but in the mean time I continue to enjoy having a nice warm shower each and every time.
