Millions of people use Microsoft Word daily, but only a fraction of users exploit more than 5% of the functionality available. This is sometimes because trying to use the functionality without understanding it can lead to frustration as it doesn’t behave as intended.
Use tutorials to learn more and reduce frustration
Although an IT professional, I am the first to admit that I don’t know or use all of Microsoft Word’s functionality. When starting out, I found formatting documents to be one of the most frustrating and difficult challenges as Word tries to automate formatting such as lists and misunderstanding my document. Over time I learnt how to manage the automation to my advantage and get the results I want.

I would highly recommend investing time learning about the functionality available, your time will be saved many times over as you become quicker and more confident using Microsoft Word.
