After evangelising Braille to my family, I occasionally get sent images of Braille they see while out. This time it was of tactile signage for an accessible trail of Three Sisters by Wigan Council.
The sign has a dark background with white text. Braille is directly under each block of text, making it accessible to braille readers. The map of the trails has clear bold lines and symbols for low vision, in addition to tactile raising of lines and shapes to make the map accessible to the blind.
Do you have any tactile signage like this where you live? tell me about it in the comments.
